This Oklahoma girl loves a good musical! One of my favorites would have to be Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! Since we are no longer living near Discoveryland we haven't see the play in a couple of years. But tonight was a fantastic treat to see the play produced by a local community theater. The best part is our sweet friend Eddy Herring was starring the play as Will!

Both Baylor and Blake were also in the musical and it was fabulous! Several other church friends joined us in the audience to enjoy the great performance! It was lovely and Eddy stole the show as the singing love interest of Ado Annie!
For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land
—a land with streams and pools of water,
with springs flowing in the valleys and hills;
a land with (waving) wheat and barley, vines and fig trees,
pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing;
a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.
