Today we played hooky with Tom Sawyer and a few of our home schooling friends! Casa Manan brought to life Mark Twain's beloved novel. Tom, his best friend Huckleberry Finn and sweetheart Becky Thatcher found themselves in many adventures, including late-night trips to the graveyard, exploring dark, mysterious caves and hunting for buried treasure. The mischievous crew in this adventure had nothing on the mischieveous group of kids we brought! 
The Ferguson/Phillips, Gungans, Sanderfords, Kirkwoods and a few others were quite the group! Even though Jon has read the book to the kids, I got tickled at Frankie being surprised at every turn of Tom & Huck's mis-adventures!
