As you all know by now, we are preparing for our home school production of OZ. Anyone who knows my family knows we have an avid love for the original Wizard of Oz movie. With great excitement we met up with friends today for the new OZ the Great and Powerful movie!
Our friends dressed up for the occasion and Frankie won the costume contest in her Glinda dress! After the movie we all headed to Braum's for lunch. It was fun to see every ones reaction to the kids in costumes storming the restaurant!
The movie came out with mixed reviews but our group loved it! Jon and I went to see it later tonight in the 3-D version! The movie is wonderful, Disney was careful not to butcher such a great story, and they pulled in elements from several of Baum's books to tell this tale!
