Ms. Kathy does a great job of organizing and facilitating our home school Classical Book Club each month. She has so many plates spinning at one time, I have no idea how she keeps them all going! I do know that my kids love the investment Ms. Kathy has made in their lives.
This month the kids read The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, and tonight they got together to discuss the book. Imagine twenty-some kids getting together to discuss classical literature that won't be a part of their grade or show up on any transcript. They do it because they enjoy each others company and because Ms. Kathy has shared her passion for great literature with them and it doesn't hurt that she always has great snacks!
Last year we were blessed to see Casa Manana's production of Tom Sawyer.
