Day two of our captivity . . . oh wait, it's really not that bad! Jon and I got out to make the Tom Thumb donations pick up for the food pantry. While we were there we checked out the shelves, it seems eggs, bread and milk were a little picked over!
The kids worked on Frankie's favorite 500 piece Little Mermaid puzzle. Later we took out a 1,000 piece round horse puzzle. It has been in the box since last Christmas because Frankie was convinced it was too hard! It took them a few days to work through it, but of course she was able to do it! Jon was a big help with the hard parts!
Jon and his mom, a.k.a. Granny both enjoy puzzles and usually when we are nearing the end of a puzzle and getting stuck then we call Granny to see if she would like to make a visit to Texas to help us finish up!
Here are links to a few of our favorite puzzle projects: 1,000 piece Baseball Puzzle (2009); 1,000 piece Ziggurat
Puzzle (2008); 1,000 stateof Texas (2008); and 1,000 piece Presidents puzzle (2007).
And yes, you will notice I am in none of the pictures doing any puzzle. I don't find them enjoyable or relaxing, I absolutely am no help in putting a puzzle together. But I love that the kids enjoy them and enjoy doing them with Jon and their Granny!

he was greatly puzzled; yet he liked to listen to him
