My Biblical Text Major has been wanting to see the movie Risen! It is the story of a Roman military tribune Clavius, who is tasked by pontius Pilate to investigate the mystery of what happened to Jesus following the Crucifixion. Was His body stolen or was He resurrected?
It is fantastic, well made, very compelling but what I really like is that the movie is hope-filled. The natural curiosity of truth seekers.
Before the movie we had dinner at the Mellow Mushroom, a local pizzeria Abigail's select team introduced us too! The boy ordered some meat filled concoction with pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon and hamburger.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Matthew 28:6
