Last night Abigail and I made the drive north to Edmond, Oklahoma. Oklahoma Christian University hosted an all day College Fair for homeschooled students.
It was a day filled with information on transcripts, dual credit, AP classes and entrance information. Abigail wanted to check out their Honors Program that is similar to the path Caleb is taking at Lubbock Christian University.
It was by far the most organized college fair we've attended. They had a lot of information that would have been helpful three years ago when we were getting Caleb college prepped. Oh well!
Abigail visited with the Business department and looked at what dual credit classes she should be taking to come into college as a sophomore. We toured the campus and the dorms. There are so many changes from when I attended OC. I only wish there had been a Chick-fil-A on campus when I was a student.
Abigail spent some time with Coach Heath, OC's softball coach on an unofficial NCAA visit. They have a great rooster this year and should have a strong team this season.
It was a great visit with almost too much information. Now for a little girl to decimate what she wants to do!
An intelligent heart acquires knowledge,
and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.
