Once a month our Heartfelt Friends get together for dinner, Bible study, and fellowship. Our group of four 'Moms' prepare dinner and open up their home for our evening together. We have six 'Sisters' in our group that are blessed by the moms hard work.
It's a wonderful evening with a home coked meal, no dishes and to be spiritually fed from God's Word by more seasoned Christian sisters.
Tonight's dinner theme was Taco Tuesday complete with sombreros and maracas! I so appreciate the time they invest in our group. The Heartfelt Friends centers around the theme of Christian women living a life that purposefully serves God.
Our lesson tonight focused on Romans 6:13-14 and allowing God to control your life and ways to surrender control to God. Our time together includes singing and praising God along with time for prayers and supplication.
Present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. Romans 6:13
