Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! The day of rest doesn't always feel so restful. They are still my favorite day of the week, but some Sundays require a nap!
Fortunately today I had a guest speaker in Texas Bible Bowl. Caleb led the kids through my lesson on Acts chapter 15. We played a review round of Jeopardy, it's always a fun way to review our previous chapters.
After evening services the youth group had their annual Christmas Party complete with a snowman wrapping race, gift exchange and pizza of course. They finished up the evening with a devotional including songs and prayer which is always a great way to close out the day.
On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and,
because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. Acts 20:7
