For many of my Mother’s Days, Jon and the kids have given me lovely rose bushes. When we return to Oklahoma and drive past the properties we have owned the one thing that hasn’t changed is the rose bushes are still flourishing.
The kids tease me that we have run out of yard for rose bushes. With the recent rains and warm weather my roses are blooming and smell so pretty. I love the color they add to our garden!
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
Song of Solomon 2:12
