Corn Rows

Both my girls have had beautiful LONG hair. Frankie wore hers past her waist until she was thirteen. Abigail is now ten and hers is equally as long as Frankie wore hers. I have nothing against short hair, I just prefer mine long and so far my girls have been the same.

When it comes time for church camp, swimming lessons and hot summer days, braided hair is the easiest style. Lots of little corn rows make it easy to wash and run out the door without brushing and styling. Usually the braids can stay in for four to six weeks with washing and conditioning. It took about eight hours to braid Abigail's hair. Her hair isn't as thick as Frankie's hair, there were times when it would take up to twelve hours to corn row Frankie's hair!

The looks you get are kind of funny, people don't expect to see a white chick in corn rows!

if a woman has long hair,
it is her glory?
For long hair is given to her as a covering.
