Metro Relief Send Off

Today was Caleb's last day volunteering at Metro Relief on a weekly basis.  Since he's heading to school next week, they had a party for him today complete with cards and gifts.

One of the gifts was a case of Ramen Noodles!  How great is that!  I'm sure he'll be back when he's home on break, but it was a little bitter sweet to say goodbye to this group of friends! This great group of friends has consistently been the same group of volunteers coming together twice a week to serve others for three years!

“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.  Matthew 6:2-4
