Making Music

Eddy, Blake & Baylor's dad, was at it again, performing in another musical at the First United Methodist Church Summer Musical, Music Man.  He's performed here before as Will Parker in Oklahoma.

It was a great date night for Jon and I to have some time together, kid free.  Eddy portrayed a fabulous con-man, Professor Harold Hill, posing as a boys' band organizer selling band instruments and uniforms to the naive Iowa townsfolk.

Eddy's wife, Melody and the kids Blake and Baylor were with us enjoying the performance.  So proud of our friend, but the best part of the evening was sitting next to my honey and enjoying the show.

The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; His love endures forever.” 2 Chronicles 5:13
