Friday Night Football

The girl attended her first Friday Night Lights football game.  Jon and I grew up on Friday night football games.  Jon played in the band and I hung out in the stands with friends.  My Dad even had season tickets to my hometown football team almost a decade after I graduated high school.

We both have so many great memories of Friday night football memories that we've said several times that the down side of homeschooling is no football experience.  Yes, there is a home school football team but they don't have a stadium, with the band, and concession stand experience.

Tonight Abigail went with her buddy, Gracie to the Allen Eagles football game.  The Eagle Stadium is the fifth largest high school stadium in Texas, with a capacity for 18,000 spectators, that cost a little over $60 million to build.  The girls had a wonderful time hanging out taking in the whole experience. Abigail came home saying that football was a lot more exciting in person than on television! I would say that's a great Friday night lights experience.

There is gold and abundance of costly stones,

but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
