Happy New Year

I can't think of a better way to ring in the new year than surrounded by good friends!

After Bible Bowl we headed to Oklahoma to spend it with the Gungans, the newest Gungans and the Lowes! We arrived in time to worship at the Ada congregation.  It was fun seeing several friends from Owasso and McDermott at services tonight.

After services the kids went to see the latest Star Wars movie together.  After all it's become a tradition! While the kids went our for tacos and to the movies the parents went out to dinner.  It was so great to be able to hang out and laugh together!

After the movie the kids joined us at the Lowe's home to ring in the new year.  Highlights from our evening include in no particular order: puppies, fudge, laughter, sparkling cider, dressing Caleb, more laughter, hot cocoa, and . . . well you get the idea.

It was wonderful to have us all together, with Caleb and Richard bantering and the girls giggling! It was a perfect way to ring in 2018!

Begin the music, strike the timbrel,
play the melodious harp and lyre.
Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon,

and when the moon is full, on the day of our festival
Psalm 81:1-2
