Jon and Caleb are pretty handy with everything from car repairs to appliance repairs, you name it! This week they spent several days up on the roof replacing trim work, sanding and painting. With the house being two story the slope of the house is pretty steep, so Caleb wore a harness and was tethered to the chimney. The pictures above were taken after the old trim had been removed and Caleb had scraped and sanded their work area. Notice Sissy in the bottom of the center photo? She never left the bottom of the ladder, she was very nervous about Caleb on the roof!
The weather was seventy degrees and beautiful, but they were in a hurry to get the job completed before an ice storm hit in Dallas in December!
