The family spent the morning packing MAGI Boxes bound for Honduras and South Texas at the Healing Hands International warehouse in Carrollton. Healing Hands is a work sponsored by congregations Church of Christ.
The M.A.G.I. boxes is an acronym that stands for “Making a Godly Impact” and it brings joy to many of God’s children. Each year, hundreds of Christians across the U.S. prepare thousands of M.A.G.I. gift boxes to be delivered to needy children.
The boxes we packed today are bound for Mexico and Zambia. There is plenty of work for all ages from packing boxes, bagging soaps and toiletries, writing cards and even coloring pictures to include with each box of goodies.
