Precinct Polling Place

Tomorrow is election day!  The girls and I spent the morning at Metro Relief volunteering and then we headed home to squeeze in some schooling, hard to believe I know! At three o'clock Frankie and I headed over a nearby elementary school to meet with the precinct chairman to set up the polling site for tomorrow.

There are seven precincts in our city.  We will be working in a precinct adjacent to ours.  Last week I attended a four hour training class at the Denton County Voter Registration office. Abigail will be able to help out tomorrow as a volunteer even though she is only fifteen.

Tomorrow will be up bright and early, it will be a long day, but hopefully by the end of the day we can put all the election ugliness behind us!

Whoever blesses his neighbor with a loud voice,
    rising early in the morning,
    will be counted as cursing.
