The Star in Frisco

This was the annual Rebuilding Hope Breakfast for Hope for Haiti's Children.  The fund raiser raises awareness on how to sponsor a child's education scholarship to lift a child out of poverty and provide them the hope of a better life. The sponsorship benefits more than just a child; it benefits the child's family and strengthens their school, church, and community. Funds raised in today's breakfast also help restore homes destroyed by Hurricane Matthew in 2016. Hope for Haiti's Children has earned Charity Navigator's exceptional 4-star rating and the "Partners in Trust" Guidestar Exchange Seal, the highest ratings for non-profit organizations!

Following the breakfast at Omni Frisco Hotel attendees were treated to a VIP Tour of The Star.  The Star is the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters in the newly developed 91-acre sports and entertainment district in Frisco. We had a great time checking out lots of cool memorabilia such as the actual Lombardi trophies, the press room, Super Bowl rings, and even one of Tom Landry's fedoras.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.  James 1:27
