Practically Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Thanksgiving is getting ever closer and we're trying to get as much baking done as possible so that we can spend time with Caleb when he gets home.  Remember last week when baked and created our own jars of pumpkin puree?  Well, today we used those jars to make pies.

Each pint contains two cups of puree, which is the perfect amount for one pie!  Simply add to the puree eggs, milk, sugar and spices!  The house is filled with smell of fall baked goodness!

Abigail acted quickly. She took two hundred loaves of bread, two skins of wine, five dressed sheep, five seahs of roasted grain, a hundred cakes of raisins and two hundred cakes of pressed figs, and loaded them on donkeys.  1 Samuel 25:18
